About Us
Lunar is a traditional Turkish Gulet and was built in 1992. Being mostly built from Mahogany and Teak means she is beautiful to look at but most importantly hard wearing. Having been completely re-built in 2008 Lunar was bought in 2012 by Mehmet Kılıç, an experienced boat captain for many years.
Mehmet was born and raised in Kalkan and has worked on the sea in varying roles ever since he can remember.
After moving to the UK in 2010, Mehmet and his wife Alex decided to return to Kalkan to fulfill the dream of owning a beautiful Gulet. They wanted to create personalised Gulet Cruises taking in the coast line of one of the most beautiful places they know.
Lunar Gulet Cruises are based on the belief that your day should be designed around you and the crew are commited to ensuring that your day is one to remember.
Lunar is capable of carrying up to 25 guests, however, we believe that the best way to set sail is in a spacious relaxed environment so we will only take a maximum of 12 guests.
